Little Storied Homes was born from a deeply personal space; a desire to tap out of cultural norms and socially constructed values. A deeply rooted knowing that the true essence of life is found outside our material collections and external accomplishments. A belief in the magic that is slow living where the day-to-day becomes extraordinary and our relationships to ourselves and others take center stage. A call to transform lives through the sacred space of home.

I believe that we are all born with superpowers; our own unique way of contributing to the good of the world. Organization and design are mine. As a young girl I spent playdates organizing my friend’s bedrooms. On the weekends I built forts in the forest with my siblings and moved furniture around the house.

Eventually I earned a degree in environmental sustainability, nannying to support myself along the way. Despite many attempts at finding "the right" job post graduation, I kept returning to the joy of children. Before I knew it, I'd spent over a decade nourishing the developing hearts and minds of children while providing support to parents in the intimate setting of their homes.

Then one day, I unexpectedly lost one of my siblings. Face to face with the ephemerality of life, I was invited to deep dive into the true essence and meaning of life. If tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, how would I spend today? Grappling with this big question, I started to notice how organization and design served as a continuous thread in my story. How for years I had been creating spaces and organization systems that offered a sense of calm and ease through order and structure. Inspired by this epiphany and the DIY renovation of my 1920s bungalow, I enrolled in design school.

While organization and design may be my tools, Little Storied Homes goes beyond home. I strive to see each client in their own authentic light and create systems and spaces as unique as them. I prioritize function and joy every step of the way, support local companies, celebrate vintage and commit to natural, sustainable products that are good for both people and the planet. I believe that our spaces are our greatest untapped resource for wellbeing.
